Dec 01, 2008· I used to have a maximat 10 copy with the similar milling attachment. You have to use the lathe''s carriage in some way or another to set up the workpiece. This limits travel and the the distance between the workpiece and the milling head. I also found it lacking ridgidity. I removed it and bought a separate milling table with base.
